Once you are logged in, visit the Classified advertisements section by clicking on the Freecycle ads from the main menu.

This will bring you to a screen that looks similar to this.

If you wish to exchange an item or skill (except exchanging for money), please click on Exchange

If you wish to request if someone is giving away or selling an item, click Wanted

If you are giving away an item (but not selling), please click Freecycle

To submit an advert, click the link Submit Ad (indicated below)

Then simply complete the form, and the advert will be posted.

Please note that you will be disconnected from the site if you do not appear to be moving from one page to another.

In order to facilitate a swifter entry onto the site, the content of these adverts is not separately approved. As such, any inappropriate ads will not only be removed, but also, will result in the user being banned from submitting anything further on the community oriented site, and potentially with any other content removed. If this persists, we may have to  implement an approval process for adverts, meaning more work for our volunteers.

Your email address is not visibly displayed, unless you put it in the text of the advert (which we do not recommend, as this may lead to increased spam through being detected by ''Spam robots" which trawl websites looking for email addresses to sell on). As such, an email can be sent to you directly from the advert, without disclosing your address by simply clicking on "Reply to this posting".
